Citizens displayed missing posters against Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party assembly member Sunny Deol. According to Indian media reports, citizens of Pathankot area in Punjab put up posters of Sunny Deol for not visiting the area. The quest has been written. People were angry with Sunny Deol for not visiting the constituency and demanded his resignation.
The protesters, who displayed posters, said that since he became an MLA, he never went to Gurdaspur and called himself a son of Punjab. The protesters said he was not doing any development work in the constituency and not allocating any funds. Demonstrators holding placards said that if they did not want to work, they should resign. It is to be noted that Sunny Deol won the 2019 general elections on a BJP ticket and has not visited Gurdaspur since winning the elections.
