Play both serious and comic roles well

It has been 13 years since famous actor Syed Kamal left his fans. He died on October 1, 2009 at the age of 75 after a long-term heart condition. He died on 27 Apr 1934 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was born and came to Pakistan in 1957 after partition after which he appeared as an actor in the first film "Thandi Sadak" in 1958.

Play both serious and comic roles well

 He was among the most successful actors in Pakistani films of the sixties and seventies and worked in countless popular films during his time. His appearance was very similar to Indian actor Raj Kapoor, hence he was also called Pakistani Raj Kapoor. Syed Kamal also tried his luck in politics and participated in the non-party election of General Ziaul Haq in 1985 but failed, after which he made the film "Politics" which was not a sufficient success.

 After films, he also worked in television and hosted a program called "Kamal Ka Show" from PTV Karachi Center. He played all kinds of roles, both serious and comic.

 His famous films include Veera, Sahagan, Ashiana, Joker, Dal Mein Kala, Bapu, Apna Praya, Ayaz and Murad. In 1968, his film "Behanbhai" was released, for which he was also awarded the Nigar Award. Ghalib's son Kamal has also acted in films. Syed Kamal also wrote a book of his poetry in his late life titled "Kasib Kamal", he was also honored with Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Service to Film.
