Sialkot, Classic School System won the Central Punjab Inter-School Cricket Championship

The Classic School System team won the Central Punjab Inter-School Cricket Championship title. Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Khurram Niazi, Mir Dawood, Umar Mir, PCB Central Punjab Board members Amir Ilyas and Ali Ahmed distributed prizes among the players.  District Sports Officer Iftikhar Gondal, CEO Education Mian Mohammad Riaz, Haji Shahid CO Municipal Corporation Sialkot Zubair were also present.

 The final match of the Central Punjab Inter School Cricket Championship was played at Faraz Cricket Ground, the team of Government Jamia High School scored 97 runs while playing first, the team of Classic School System achieved the required target by one wicket.  Ghulam Haider of the winning team was declared the man of the match for his best performance in the final match, Mateenur Rehman of the Government Jamia High School team was declared the best player of the tournament, he scored 378 runs with the help of two centuries in the tournament while  Shehryar Waqar was declared the best bowler of the tournament with 16 wickets.

 The chief guests awarded the winning team with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and the runner-up team with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 75 thousand.  Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Khurram Niazi congratulated the winning team and directed the runner-up team to perform better in the future.  He said that both the winner and runner-up teams have been qualified for the next round of the tournament.

 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Usman Dar called the players of the winner and runner-up teams as future stars and said that Sialkot has given Pakistan cricket eminent players through the promotion of cricket at the school level, and more talented players from this city will come forward.  will come  Usman Dar also appreciated the decision of the district administration to organize upcoming hockey, football, volleyball, badminton tournaments.
